Everything is contagious, in one sense or another. We can choose to infect ourselves and infect others with ways of being, thinking, talking, and acting. This world crisis has stopped us in our tracks, and given us an opportunity to reflect and reassess our lives. How have we been spending our time? What can we do to create a better world?  How can I show love and kindness to myself and others? Feelings, thoughts and emotions all have vibrations, are all invisible, and have counter vibrations. For instance, the counter vibrations or "remedies" for fear and worry are calm, peace, safety, security, trust and reassurance.

When we are stuck in a negative emotion that is reinforced by our external environment, the subconscious mind simply hits the repeat button when we find ourselves in similar settings that match the same feeling. Your mind/body will continue to look for evidence and feedback from your environment and those negative feelings will persist. One effective way you can shift out of this (that has worked for me) is to feel more positively toward yourself and others, and engage with things or people that cultivate that positive mindset. Give your time and energy outward, without complaint.  Be of service to someone or a cause you love.  Find something passionate to focus on and create it. It is a chance to be and do what we love, expressing our creativity, sharing our passions, and reinventing ourselves.

Remember, a virus also has a vibration. It too is invisible, and has it's own counter vibration. Vibration is what you are, and frequency is what you send out.  The vibration of love is the highest that we can be. We are all a piece of the collective we call humanity, and through our own efforts we can add to this collective body, infecting it with the good.

Our world as we know it has stopped, and though outwardly separate, we have inwardly become unified in our struggle -- one people, united through tragedy. We can learn during this time, perhaps that we can’t take life for granted, that massive changes could be just around the corner, that the way we connect and relate to others in our local and world community matters, how we treat the earth and other living creatures affects our own well being.

We must practice CALM more than ever. What does this mean? It means finding ways to counteract or diffuse the fight or flight response and the primal brain. It means finding, using and cultivating counter vibrations. If you have the tools, now, more than ever, is the time to use them, to put them into practice, and choose a positive direction.

If you don’t have the tools, there are wonderful online resources, and I am happy to help you find them. I am here to help you help yourself, for your own sanity and well being. Being in a prolonged state of fight or flight can wreak havoc on your your immune system, also inducing low-level chronic stress and inflammation.

While it’s important to keep up on the day’s news, it's just as important to quiet the mind and find peace in a chaotic time.

 Here are some other tips:

 1. Avoid binging on bad news all day, compulsively watching the news, constantly talking about the virus — these things have adverse effects. Give yourself time to breathe, be outside and come back to your most rational self. Breathe in that fresh air and get some sun on your face. Vitamin D regulates the immune system. ️
 2. Explore and learn something new. Why not? I'm guessing you have the time.

 4. Find meditative and calming practices. You might surprise yourself with what resonates!

 5. Make time to talk with friends and family on video chat to help you feel more connected.

 6. Make space for other people’s reality, opinions and truths without immediately judging them or feeling the need to defend a position. Do your best to be understanding and empathetic, while also making your own choices, and finding your own truth.

Remember, this too shall pass. What’s in the way is the way. And there will always be many positive outcomes as well. (Sometimes it's easy to see the obvious negative ones around us). Hold on to that with all your heart. We have to follow our own heart’s wisdom through all of this, but we also have to be sure we are indeed following our heart's most rational intelligence and not our primal brains.
As we all adjust, I’d like to support you in finding ways to cultivate the good, and release negative patterns that will weaken you resilience on all levels. Having a regular yoga and Qi cultivation practice brings you back to center and calm, the place where you get to observe your thoughts and feelings (not become them), consider your options, and make good choices. We also know there are valuable immune system benefits from mindful yoga and Qi Gong practices.
I know that the pandemic is having differing effects financially and want to allow for options to support each other. I will continue to record free short videos for you to watch when you need a boost or some peace. Having canceled in-person upcoming classes and workshops for the coming weeks and maybe more, I would certainly be grateful if you have the means to contribute, however, I am here to serve either way.

 Options for Support~
 1. Free Videos (Meditation, Yoga, Breath)
 2. Purchase full yoga practice videos with option to stream or download ($5 per class)
 3. Pangu Yoga ZOOM LIVE April 15th - SAVE THE DATE

It is my desire to be a part of a caring, loving community that watches out for each other, is stronger together than going it alone, and welcomes each other’s unique gifts and contributions.

My sincere wish is to help you find the remedies within yourself. I appreciate your kindness and support in all ways. May we all know peace of mind, well-being, compassion and connection during these continually unfolding and changing times.
Love for you, and the journey,
 Anisha
